NATO will approve the 2010Action Plan for Georgia in late January, Georgia's European Integration Minister Giorgi Baramidze told journalists.
According to the official, the action plan has already been submitted to NATO headquarters and consultations with Georgia's partner countries and NATO members are underway.
"It is important for us to continue the reforms that bring Georgia to the organization. For this we use the annual action plan and the draft plan for 2010 is ready. At this stage, consultations are underway and soon all observations and recommendations will be taken into account in accordance with all procedures," he added.
The first consultation scheduled for Jan. 20 in Brussels.
The annual action plan deals with strengthening the military reform, media freedom, democratic elections and strengthening anti-corruption action.
