Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev has today received Austrian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Sylvia Meyer Kaibic and Dutch Ambassador Arjen Peter Uijterlinde, the ministry reported.
The meetings discussed the political and military situation in the region and prospects for military cooperation between the countries.
The ambassadors of Austria and the Netherlands introduced defense attaches of their counties to Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan has signed bilateral agreements on military cooperation with more than 30 countries. The country is cooperating with 53 states in the military field.
