Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has received newly appointed Uzbek Ambassador to Azerbaijan Sherzod Fayziyev.
The new ambassador presented the copies of credentials and said that he was pleased with this appointment.
The ambassador congratulate with the 89th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev and stressed the big role of Heydar Aliyev in the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
Mammadyarov noted that Azerbaijan highly appreciates the support of the country's fair position by the Uzbek side and added that a relation between our countries is developed in all fields.
