BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 18. It is extremely important to continue constructive dialogue for peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia, said Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov, Trend reports.
Asadov made the remark during a meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) held in Moscow.
“I would like to once again express Azerbaijan’s strong determination to continue its efforts to strengthen peace and security in the region. Taking into account the recent positive signals, we consider it extremely important to continue the constructive dialogue in this area,” he noted.
Rational use of the historical opportunity that has arisen will make it possible to achieve the long-awaited peace in the region and give all people in the region hope for peaceful and safe coexistence, the prime minister added.
The meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the CIS is being held in the center of VDNKh (Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy) in Moscow. Before the meeting, the prime ministers of the CIS countries familiarized themselves with the international exhibition forum in Russia, which started at the VDNKh exhibition center.
The exhibition forum demonstrates the development of Russia's regions and the new production technologies in the country.
