BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 11. Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov met with the Vice President of the Republic of Angola Esperança da Costa on November 11, Trend reports.
According to a statement released by Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers, the ongoing 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) held in Baku was highlighted as an important context for the discussions.
The meeting emphasized Azerbaijan's commitment to strengthening ties with African nations, including Angola.
"The meeting focused on the potential for developing Azerbaijani-Angolan cooperation in areas of mutual interest," the ministry statement said.
