Аzerbaijan does not view the issue on its membership in NATO so far, the Azerbaijan’s deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov said in a statement on 18 November in Baku, Trend reports.
According to him, the issue cannot be considered one-sidedly, without mutual will of the both sides, creating of relevant conditions and a number of pre-requisites, both geo-strategic and geo-political, are needed for that. Azerbaijan has its own policy in this regard, defined by the national interests. В"We continue to integrate successfully into this international structure, and the issue of membership in the organization must be considered as the peak of this cooperation”, deputy Minister stressed.
