В"The major activities of the Yeni Sharg new Research Centre will be aimed at the studying of events occurring in the region, including Azerbaijan and conducting strategic researches”, the Centre deputy director Vusal Aliyev told Trend.
Apart from this, the goal to study cultural heritage, history, traditions of the region’s countries, as well as conducting of scientific analyses, conferences in this field is pursued.
The new Centre’s experts are the academician Ali Abbasov, professor Altay Geyushev and other known scholars. The centre is headed by the official of the National Academy of Sciences Elshan Mustafaogli.
