The congress of the Azerbaijan National Independence Party (ANIP) led by Etibar Mammadov will be held in late April, the party told Trend. The party will determine the date of the conference after completion of the conferences of regional branches on 15 April.
18 from 74 regional branches have already organized conferences. The party will elect candidates to the congress after the completion of all conferences. There is no claimant to the post of chair yet. Besides election of the chair, the agenda of the congress will include organization issues.
ANIP led by Mammadov has not received reply in relation to investigation of the documents, submitted to the Justice Ministry.
