Considering that the draft law on political parties does not correspond to the modern demands, big changes need to be introduced to it, the Great Contemplation party chairman, Fazil Gazanfaroglu told Trend.
There are no ideas of political struggle between the parties in the draft, he said. It completely lacks the social activity principles. Some financing regulations should also be amended in the draft. And changes need to be done in the matter of party financing, he stated.
The party also emphasized that in order to encourage the political parties development the draft should correspond to the modern political reality. Therefore, changes and supplements to the daft are imminent. He also said that the similar type of draft has been worked out by his party and presented to the parliament. There was no answer so far.
The draft law on political parties will be reviewed in parliament during the fall session.
