Up to the moment General Consulate of Azerbaijan in Istanbul did not receive any appeals from relatives of Azeri citizen Tamash Ismayilova murdered July 24 in Istanbul, Trend reports quoting Ibrahim Nabiogli, Consul General of Azerbaijan to Istanbul.
He said the corpse is now in Istanbuls city mortuary. According to the international law, it could be given to relatives after their official appeal. В"Time is needed to inform her relatives in Sabirabad and wait them here in TurkeyВ", consul said. Nabiogli also said the investigation is lead on the case.
Tamasha Ismayilova, 20, was murdered in Istanbul by her Turkish friend Erkan Sertgaya. Having been stabbed by knife, she died at once.
