Leo Platvoet`s Report Not Included to Agenda of PACE Autumn's Session

A document prepared by Leo Platvoet, PACE (Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe) Rapporteur on the Captures and Missing Persons as results of the visit to the region is not expected to be included to the PACE`s agenda. Agshin Makhtiyev, Azerbaijan`s Ambassador to the Council of Europe exclusively told Trend that the document is expected to be considered by the PACE Committee on Migration, Refugees and Population on October 5, 2006.

Mr. Mekhtiyev also told that the report on the situation in Kosovo will be considered during the winter`s session of PACE, not the autumn`s one.

The Azerbaijani diplomat also pointed out that Russian State Duma Speaker Boris Gryzlov, as well as Hungarian Premier-minister Ferenz Durchan who were to deliver their speeches during the meeting of PACE could not come to Starasburg.
