Vladimir Buynov, the Director of the CIS Organization Department, exclusively informed Trend that a meeting of the CIS Summit of Heads of State has been postponed to late November 2006.
The Foreign Ministries of all CIS member states have been informed on the delay of the meetings of the Council of Heads of Government and the Council of Heads of States from October to November. The first meeting will therefore be held in mid-November, while summit is to take place late this November.
A meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers scheduled for 16 October will be held in line with the schedule.
