(showbizspy.com) - R& B sensation Beyonce Knowles is reportedly set to ditch her R& B routes in favor of dance music.
According to reports, the former 'Destiny's Child' singer approached up-and-coming dance act The Freemasons to work on a new song for her next album- after her last album 'B-Day' didn't do as well as expected.
James Wiltshire, one half of the dance duo, said: "The album is going to be huge.
"It will rival anything the likes of Britney and Rihanna have done recently. Beyonce and her team can see where mistakes were made on her last album.
"That was very American, very r'n'b and stripped back. This time they want to go for a more international sound and hit as many audiences as possible.
"Normally big stars don't take any notice of smaller acts like ours, so her decision to work with us shows just where she is going with this album."
Beyonce's team were said to have contacted The Freemasons after they heard the pair's official remixes of the star's hit songs 'Deja Vu' and 'Beautiful Liar'.
James added to British newspaper The Daily Star: "Her management have been in almost daily contact with us ever since.
"It is exciting getting to work on a new tune for her, as we get to be really creative."
"We were asked to do the remix of Britney's 'Gimme More' and to work on Donna Summer's new album.
"But we put them both on hold to work with Beyonce."
