Azerbaijan, Baku, 6 May / Trend corr. R.Ergun / The 7th European Championship of billiards ('Free pyramid') will be held in Baku, the Billiards Sport Federation of Azerbaijan (BSFA) news-service reported to Trend on 6 May.
Organizers of the competition are the Youth and Sport Ministry of Azerbaijan, European Committee on Pyramid (ECP) and BSFA. The Olympic Committee of Azerbaijan has also given their official support.
The competition will be held from 15 - 18 May. Thirty-two men and 16 women will participate in the competition.
Azerbaijan, Belorussia, Georgia, Georgia, Germany, Latvia, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine, Finland and Estonia will took part in the competition. Currently, applications from other countries are also being considered.
Azerbaijan is going to hold such a competition for the first time.
BSFA has been the member of the International Committee on Pyramid since 2000. Ilham Aslanov, President of BSFA, is a member of ECP.
