Azerbaijan, Baku, 21 August / Trend corr. R.Ergun / Anatoliy Demyanenko, the coach of the Azerbaijani Nefchi football club will be retired regardless of the third Azerbaijani Prime League results. This was told rend News by Ilgar Guluzade, Vice President of Nefchi.
According to Guluzade, resignation of unsuccessful coach should be accepted normally. "At present, we are training for the match with Gabala team. Most changes may take place after the game. If the team will lose the game, the coach will have to resign. This practice is used in most countries," the Vice President said.
Within the third Prime League tournament Nefchi will face with Gabala.
Demyanenko was appointed the coach of Nefchi football club in the second half of 2007/2008. Under Demynenko's coaching Nechi succeeded Intertoto and it has become the first Azerbaijani club which passed more than two stages in the European Cup.
Nefchi lost the first two tournaments this season under coaching of Ukrainian coach.
Guluzade said that there is a German specialist amongst the coaches to replace Demyanenko. "I do not want to announce names. The talks are going on," Guluzade said.
At present, Vli Gasimov, the current sport director of Nefchi, or Boyukaga Hajiyev, the coach footzal Araz team, may be appointed as the new coach.
