The Azerbaijani and Slovak Justice Ministries signed a cooperation memorandum in Baku on May 12.
The memorandum was inked as part of Slovak Deputy Prime Minister and Justice Minister Stefan Harabin's visit to Azerbaijan, the Justice Ministry told Trend on May 13.
At the meeting, the ministers mentioned the role of this document in strengthening legal cooperation between the two countries and stressed that they support mutual activity in key directions of justice.
Azerbaijani Justice Minister Fikrat Mammadov informed the guest about the work done to upgrade justice and juridical agencies. Moreover, the minister said there are great perspectives to develop cooperation in legal field between the two countries.
Harabin said that his country also holds reforms in this field and stressed importance of exchange of experience and opinion in this field. The Slovak minister invited his Azerbaijani counterpart to Slovakia.
