Azerbaijan sent a criminal case of former investigator accused of swindle to the court.
Judge Eynulla Veliyev will deal with former senior investigator of the Gusar region's Prosecutor's Office Alamshah Shukurov's criminal case, the Serious Crimes Court told Trend .
The preparatory hearing is scheduled for March 19.
Shukurov was demoted and discharged from the Prosecutor's Office Nov. 25, 2009 because of flagrant violation of the Code of ethics for prosecutor authorities of Azerbaijan Republic.
The investigation revealed that Shukurov, abuse of authority missappropriated the property of citizens, and did considerable damage to the legally protected rights and interests of individuals.
Shukurov is charged with Article 308.1 (abuse of power) and 178.2.3, 178.2.4 (swindle) of the Criminal Code.
