A presentation of the book "Gem Karvani" ("Caravan of sorrow") by the national poet Salim Sinedefter was held June 29.
"Salim Sinedefter is no longer among us for several years, but he left many unpublished poems. Now all of his poems, collected in a book is presented to the readers," MP Ganira Pashayeva, the author of the introduction of the book said.
Pashayeva said that book should be propagandized among young people.
According to her love of good poetry ennobles any person.
"Today's creative evening gave us the opportunity to commemorate Salim Sinedefter," she said.
Writing book review, Doctor of Philology, Professor Gazanfar Pashayev said that the basis of all is the word, and Salim Sinedefter devoted his life to the word and poetry.
"The poet born in 1927 in Tovuz was given the ability to speak beautifully," Pashayev said.
The book "Gem Karvani" includes hundreds of unique designs of ashiq poems in the form of garayli, goshma, tesnifs, gifilbend, divani, and mukhammas, deyishme.
