OSCE Special Representative on Freedom of the Media Dunja Mijatovic met with Chairman of the National TV and Radio Broadcasting Council Nushiravan Maharramli.
They discussed issues relating to legislation on TV and radio broadcasting and the transition to digital broadcasting.
The need for joint discussions was stressed to amend the legislation on this issue.
Internet TV was also discussed. Maharramli said no work is conducted to regulate Internet TV. Mijatovic stressed the importance of discussions on this issue.
Maharramli answered the guest's questions.
