The Committee on Social Policy in Azerbaijan didn't approve the law "On inclusive education" submitted by the Education Ministry as a separate law.
The parliament believes it os appropriate to add to the Law "On special education" related items, ministry official Malahat Hajiyeva told Trend on Tuesday.
Professionals are carrying out work to inclue provisions for inclusive education into the law "On special education".
Hajiyeva said the law "On special education" means integration education.
Integration education provides opportunities to create in regular institutions special classes or schools with special classes. However, this law has no items that allow children with disabilities to get inclusive education in mainstream schools with healthy children.
