The survey dedicated to Azerbaijan was conducted by the "Tourism development" project of the UN Development Programme (UNDP) in Berlin.
It was revealed that women in Germany are better informed about Azerbaijan than men. Women are more inclined to visit Azerbaijan.
According to the survey conducted among 521 respondents in Berlin, it was found out that people aged 30 - 40 mainly want to visit Azerbaijan, the project told Trend.
About 94.6 per cent of respondents claim that they have heard about Azerbaijan. Most respondents are interested in the security situation in the country (72.2 percent), 54.7 percent of respondents, willing to come to Azerbaijan, get information about the country via the Internet, mainly via "google".
The majority of respondents (79.9 percent), who have heard about Azerbaijan or want to come to this country, emphasized that they want the flight and accommodation issues to be resolved.
According to the survey, people aged 30-40 and 21-29 recommend organizing cultural trips to such countries as Azerbaijan.
