Concentrated study of the Chinese language begins in Georgia. The Embassy of China in Georgia said on Tuesday that from August educators from China will come to Georgia, who will operate under the "Teach and Learn with Georgia" project.
The Chinese Embassy has held a special preparatory meeting. By decision of the Ministry of Education of Georgia and the Confucius Institute 10 teachers will come to Georgia in August.
They will live in Georgian families, by analogy with the ongoing program of learning English. In the case of a successful program more Chinese teachers will come to Georgia.
In the first phase the program will be implemented in 10 schools in Tbilisi.
