Monitoring Group of the Press Council has monitored the work of journalists at an unsanctioned rally, which took place in the center of Baku on Monday, the Council told Trend.
The members of the monitoring group, which consisted of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' staff, determined that the journalists, covering this unauthorized action, were in vests on which PRESS was inscribed and there have been no facts of obstacles on their way.
But some media representatives carrying out their professional work hadn't.
The Press Council considers this as an important condition for the media representatives to effectively conduct their duties and encourages them to wear these vests.
