Azerbaijan Public Relations Association was established at another meeting of PR specialists of the well known companies held in Excelsior Hotel Baku on June 7, 2016.
PR managers of AtaHolding, Veysaloglu, Excelsior Hotel Baku, Pasha Hayat Insurance, Bakcell, AtaBank, Caspian Development Bank, Hed Academy and head of Alibayov Communication & Consulting company took part in the meeting. The tasks about establishing the Azerbaijan Public Relation Association and forthcoming duties of the association were discussed at the meeting.
Head of Veysaloglu Holding's PR department, APRA chairman Ilham Mammadzade noted that the newly established Azerbaijan Public Relation Association will contribute to the development of PR sphere in Azerbaijan.
The Association will be a member of international PR associations too. Mammadzade also noted that the main purpose of establishing the organization is to improve the knowledge in the sphere of public relations, create the conditions for increasing the personnel potential and achieve the development of this sphere in terms of quality and quantity.
Head of AtaHolding's corporate communication department noted that there was a necessity for establishing the association for uniting PR agencies and PR structures at the professional level and coordinating their activity. We decided to use our skills and practice gained during a long period of our activity in the further activity of the association.
The association will help follow high professional and ethic standards in the PR sphere. The conditions will be created to increase the national specialists' level. Different courses, trainings, seminars, conferences will be organized for enlightening the association members.
Moreover, the relations with government and non government organizations, periodical press, e-media will be established, cooperation with them and mutual projects will be implemented.
