BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 16. Units of the Armenian Armed Forces from positions located in the direction of the Goysu settlement of the Basarkechar region fired several times from small arms on the positions of the Azerbaijani army located in the direction of the Galakend settlement of the Gadabay district from 00:15 to 00:20 (GMT +4) on June 16, Trend reports via the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan.
Besides, from 00:50 to 04:10, members of the illegal Armenian armed formations on the territory of Azerbaijan, where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily stationed [in accordance with a trilateral statement signed by Azerbaijani, Armenian and Russian leaders following the 2020 second Karabakh war], periodically fired at the positions of the Azerbaijani army in the direction of the Shusha district.
"Adequate response measures were taken by the units of the Azerbaijani army," the ministry added.
