PARIS, France, August 4. Azerbaijani athlete Hanna Skydan, representing the country at the Paris Summer Olympics athletics, has entered the competition, Trend reports.
Azerbaijani hammer thrower Skydan achieved distances of 69.58 and 69.04 meters in her first two attempts during the qualification stage. In her third attempt, she improved significantly, reaching 72.55 meters.
With this result, the athlete secured 6th place among 32 athletes in groups A and B, earning her a spot in the final stage of the Olympic Games. The winners of the women's hammer throw competition will be determined on August 6.
