The repeated dope-test of Azerbaijani silver medalist at world championship on Greco-Roman wrestling Husameddin Rajabov was positive, Trend reports.
The term of punishment for Rajabov is still unknown. “It is pity that Azerbaijan will be deprived of the silver award of the world championship gained by our talented wrestler, but the situation should be clarified,” Javanshir Gurbanov, the Vice-President of the National Federation, said. He stressed that it was possible that the medicines using by Rajabov at receiving treatment for the trauma of his back contained forbidden medications. This version is more real, taking into consideration that the dope-test taken at the completion of the European championship in Bulgaria, where he ranked 5, was not positive.
