This academic year, Azeri Ministry of Education is sending nearly 3,000 teachers to rural schools, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry.
According to the В"provision of high-schools with pedagogic personnelВ" state program, this year 986 alumnis of pedagogic universities have been sent to high-schools and 1,967 to regions. Last year, these figures made 1,308 and 941, respectively.
The ministry officials said, the lack of pedagogic personnel is observed in northern, southern and northwestern regions of the country. Rural schools in these areas need teachers of Azeri language and literature, history, geography and so on.
