As compare with the last years, facts of the official registration of Azerbaijani NGOs have increased in several times, a source in the Azerbaijan Registration and Notary Department told Trend.
Some 500 NGOs (non-governmental organizations) were passed the official registration in the country in 2006.425 media sources were included to the state register as well.
To date, the number of NGOs, which passed the state registration has exceeded 2300 ones, the number of media sources вЂ" 2800 ones.
