(news.sawf.org ) - Eddie Murphy will soon find out if he's indeed the father of Scary Spice's new daughter Angel Iris. While Murphy has been insisting that he is not the baby's father, what has Mel B so mad is the fact that he has been refusing to undergo a test to prove his claim.
Now, she's made sure that he has to undergo a test by taking him to court.
The actor is due to appear in court in the US today to provide a DNA sample so that all doubts over the baby's paternity can be cleared up. A source revealed that Murphy has been left with little choice but to appear.
"If he tries to duck out of this test there will be all hell to pay. This isn't just another girlfriend he is messing around, this is his own flesh and blood," the Sun quoted the source, as saying. "Mel knows the baby is Eddie's and can't believe it has got to this point where she has to force him to acknowledge there is a chance he could be the father.
"He has left her with no choice. She doesn't want Angel to grow up questioning who her father is. "At least this way they will know officially whether Eddie is the daddy or not and move on from there. This isn't about the money, it's about Angel knowing for sure who her dad is," the source added. The former Spice Girl was dumped by the actor on live Dutch TV while five months pregnant.
