Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Ilhamgizi / The decision by Sabail District Court on the lawsuit of Baku Khabar newspaper did not satisfy Aydin Guliyev, the Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper.
An appeal by Guliyev on the decision of the Appeal Court from 9 February was reconsidered during the trial held in Sabail District Court under the chairmanship of Judge Alim Namazov. In compliance with the decision of the Court, the newspaper must pay a fine of AZN 4,000.

The plaintiff appealed to the Court for payment of the fine to be made in installments which was approved by the Court.
Bank accounts of the newspaper were frozen. Since 30 May activities of the newspaper have been suspended. Despite all the difficulties encountered, the newspaper will restore publication in near future, Guliyev noted.
