Sweden plans to supply comfortable tourist buses to Uzbekistan

The second Uzbek-Swedish business forum started in Tashkent, where negotiations between Sweden business circles and representatives of Uzbek government were held, Trend reports via Uzbek media.

This year, the Swedish delegation included such large companies as ADB Safegate, Scania, Ericsson, Alfa Laval, Sandvik, Epiroc Central Asia, which represent a number of sectors: energy, oil and gas, mining and processing industries, production of building materials and food products, high-tech solutions in aviation and air transportation and information and communication technologies.

The parties discussed the prospects for the implementation of projects in the infrastructure, transport and information and communication sectors, as well as in the fuel and energy sector and geology. Representatives of Sweden business circles expressed their willingness to cooperate with their Uzbek partners.

“Our company is engaged in the production of trucks, buses for various industries, industrial and marine engines. The tourism industry is developing at an accelerated pace in Uzbekistan. We are planning to cooperate in this industry and supply tourist buses. Our buses are designed for comfortable and safe transportation of passengers in the city and on the country roads,” said Arthur Saffron, a representative of Scania.
