Azerbaijani PASHA Bank OJSC is one of the leading banks applying international practices in Azerbaijan that have a positive effect on the development of the economy and society, Vusal Khalilov, Head of the bank's engineering department, told Trend.
According to Khalilov, in its relationship with the business, PASHA Bank not only finances its customers but goes along with them a long way of development, which is confirmed by the heads of the companies.
“As for the projects, in 2020, together with our partners, we successfully implemented a contactless payment system on one of the pilot routes of public transport in Sumgayit city, as well as introduced new payment tools at SOCAR filling stations, new digital POS terminals in retail outlets and implemented a number of other projects,” added Khalilov.
He noted that PASHA Bank supports the annual international conference DevOpsDays Baku, which is attended by engineers from the world's leading companies - Google, Amazon, Uber, Tinkoff, Hazelcast.
“We also sponsor the republican programming contests among students and actively participate in many other projects in Azerbaijan that contribute to the development of society,” Khalilov said.
He added that PASHA Bank cooperates with many technology companies both domestically and abroad.
“Plans for expanding cooperation directly depend on the implementation of the Bank's Strategy for 2021-2023, under which we will also involve IT companies in the implementation of joint projects,” said the head of the bank's engineering department.
