BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 10. The turnover through New Generation Cash Registers (NGCR) in Azerbaijan notably increased from January through April 2022, Trend reports citing the reports of the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.
According to the service, this figure amounted to over six billion manat ($3.5 billion), up by 41.9 percent on annual basis.
In general, 58,095 NGCRs have been installed in Azerbaijan so far.
The equipping of trade and service facilities of the registers has been implemented in steps from the second quarter of 2019. The State Tax Service plans to complete the fourth stage of this process by December 31, 2022.
