BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 30. The average monthly nominal salary of employees in Azerbaijan’s Baku increased by 12.3 percent from January through March 2022 compared to the same period in 2021 and amounted to 1,040 manat ($611.7), Trend reports with reference to the Baku City Statistics Department.
According to the department, an increase in average monthly nominal wage was recorded in the mining industry, the financial and insurance sectors, the sphere of information and communications, and construction, also in the transport and warehousing sectors, during this period.
The average monthly nominal wage of employees in Baku amounted to 979 manat ($575.8) from January through February 2022.
