BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 22. Another four villages of Kazakhstan’s Almaty region will be provided with natural gas in coming days, the akimat (mayor office) of Almaty said, Trend reports, citing Kazakh media.
According to akimat, the necessary gas distribution networks are being constructed in Akdala, Aktas, and Zhalkamys villages of Talgar district of Almaty under the Public-private partnership (PPP) program.
The work is underway to provide 200 residents of Akdala village and 80 residents of Aktas village.
At the same time, the preparatory work for pressure testing of gas distribution networks is carried out in Zhalkamys village to provide 2,000 users with gas, which will be completed soon.
“To facilitate the process of gas supply in Kazakhstan, the price of connection for users will not exceed 180,000 Kazakh tenge ($388),” Dastan Shaltabayev, the Head of the Housing and communal Services Department of the Almaty region, noted.
According to the akimat, the construction of a gas pipeline and gas distribution networks in the Akku neighborhood of Talgar (300 users) is also underway, and the project is nearing completion. As of today, work is underway on crimping gas pipelines.
