BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 13. Revenues to the state budget of Azerbaijan through the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan (SCC) increased by 4.91 percent from January through February 2024 year on year, Trend reports.
The SCC data showed that this figure exceeded 959 million manat ($564 million).
Customs duty revenues to the state budget increased by 11.5
percent (27.8 million manat or $16.3 million) during the reporting
period compared to the same time last year, totaling 269.7 million
manat ($158.6 million).
VAT collections were 649 million manat, or $381.76 million, down
10.89 percent year on year; excise tax revenues were 33.77 million
manat, or $19.86 million, up 13.5 percent; and road tax revenues
were 6.7 million manat, or $3.9 million, down 23.73 percent.
To note, income to Azerbaijan's national budget from the SCC
climbed by 12.08 percent last year compared to 2022, reaching 6.3
billion manat ($3.7 billion).
In 2022, this value increased by 30.21 percent year on year to 5.65
billion manat ($3.3 billion).
