Azerbaijan, Baku, 24 April / Trend / The Tax Ministry of Azerbaijan has disclosed 1,654 cases of violation of the tax legislation as a result of investigation operations held from 17 March to 20 April, the Ministry reported.
During that period some 846 cash payment violations came to light and 100 foreign currency violations were revealed. In addition, there were 162 enterprises and 212 tax payers not registered at the Ministry of Tax.
During the investigation operation, the Ministry of Tax revealed 147 cases of individuals working without a labour permit. Some 143 taxi drivers carried passengers without distinctive marks and 78 people were engaged in illegal currency exchange in public.
Within a month the Ministry also uncovered 623 marked commodities in the sum of AZN 554.9 from 12 tax payers.
The Ministry continues implementation of operation measures.
