Azerbaijan, Baku, 2 May / corr. Trend U. Ismayilova/ The State Service for Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economic Development of Azerbaijan has began to monitor the market for building materials in Azerbaijan, Khalig Mammadov, head of the Service said.
"The service will monitor not only quality but also the regulation of building material prices," said Mammadov.
According to Mammadov, both home-produced and imported building materials will be monitored.
"The Service will demand that suppliers in the building materials market not only observe quality, but also to provide a warranty for expensive building materials," Mammadov said.
According to the Estate Market public union, there has been a 0.6% price rise for building materials in March compared to February.
