Azerbaijan, Baku, 22 July / Trend / Transport workers of Tatarstan Republic of the Russian Federation, exchanged experiences with their Azerbaijani counterparts in the field of transportation and road building during their visit to Baku on July 16-17. Tatarstan's delegation to Baku was headed by the Transport and Road Economy Minister Ildus Faskhutdinov.
"The main goal of the visit is the exchange of experience between our countries in the field of transportation and road building," Deputy Minister of Transportation of Tatarstan Ruslan Sabirov said to Trend .
Sabirov didn't exclude the further cooperation between Azerbaijan and Tatarstan in transport sector.
The Azerbaijani Ministry of Transportation stated in its official statement that during the meeting with Azerbaijan Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov the Tatar Minister stated that developing road-transport sector and building bridges and road junctions Azerbaijan achieves successes and becomes attractive for neighboring countries.
Tatarstan's delegation included officials of central administration of Glavtatdortrans (Central Transport and Road Department of Tatarstan), the Construction Engineering Association, PSO Kazan, Trans-most, Tatinvestgrajdanproject.
