The State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development destroyed about 500 kilograms of expired products during the regular monitoring of the consumer market, the ministry said.
Monitoring were conducted in Binagadi, Sabail, Nasimi and Narimanov districts of Baku, Lankaran and Terter regions.
Expired products - sausage, pastry, butter, milk and dairy products, canned foods, soft drinks, fruit juices, beer were confiscated.
Administrative measures will be applied towards physical and legal entities - perpetrators of consumer rights.
