The Azerbaijani Taxes Ministry held discussions on the draft Convention on avoiding double taxation towards taxes on income and on property with the ministries of economic regulation and foreign affairs of Kyrgyzstan, the Azerbaijani Taxes Ministry said.
During the discussions held within the Kyrgyz delegation's visit to Baku, an agreement was reached on all points of the draft Convention.
A protocol was signed as a result of talks between the Azerbaijani Ministry of Taxes and the Ministry of Economic Regulation of Kyrgyzstan.
At present, Azerbaijan has signed agreements on avoiding double taxation with 40 countries, 36 of which are already in force. Four agreements have already been approved by the Azerbaijani side, and will enter into force after internal procedures of the opposite side. In addition, an agreement has been already reached at the expert level with nine countries to sign agreements, coordination of draft agreements is underway with six countries. Also, holding talks in this sphere is being discussed with more than 10 countries.
