In comparison with December 2010, Armenia's 12-month inflation made up 4.7 percent in December of the current year, the National Statistical Service informed.
And in comparison with past November, Armenia's consumer market registered 2.5-percent inflation, in December, which includes 4.4-percent increase in the prices of food products - including alcoholic beverages and cigarettes - 0.5-percent increase in the prices of non-food items, and 0.1-percent increase in service charges, News.am reported.
In 2011, the average monthly increase in consumer prices constituted 0.4 percent, which is 0.4-percent less than the year past.
