In the summer of 2012, the Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) LLC will get three Boeing aircrafts under the contract with this aircraft maker, a source in the company told Trend on Monday.
He said the company will have to get one Boeing 767-300ER and two Boeing 767 freighters.
Last June, the company purchased one Boeing 767-300ER under the contract with Boeing.
"Both passenger and freight aircrafts will arrive in Baku this summer," the source said. "They should arrive almost simultaneously."
In 2014 AZAL will be the first in the CIS which will receive the most modern aircrafts Boeing-787 Dreamliner.
After 2014 the company will receive another similar aircraft. This will enable AZAL to launch flights over longer distances, particularly in North and South America, Southeast Asia and other regions of the world.
