The index of industrial turnover increased by 28.1 percent in Turkey in 2011 compared to 2010, reaching 208.4 points, Institute of Statistics of Turkey said on Tuesday.
The index of industrial turnover increased by 6.7 percent in December 2011 compared to December 2010 and by 20 percent compared with the November 2011.
The index of industrial turnover in the field of mining operations increased by 30.4 percent in December compared to the same period in 2010, and by 16.3 percent in manufacturing.
The index of industrial order increased by 29 percent to 200.2 points in 2011. The index of industrial orders in December 2011 increased by 15.8 percent compared to the same month in 2010, and by16.7 percent, reaching 229.7 points compared to the previous month.
