Kazakhstan to launch first domestic missile ship in late April

Kazakhstan will launch the first domestic missile ship in late April, Kazakh Defense Ministry reported on Friday.
"In late April, Kazakhstan will launch the first domestic missile ship 'Kazakhstan' designed to destroy enemy's surface battleships, boats and transports on their own and in cooperation with the ship strike forces, in the year of the 20th anniversary of Kazakh army," the Ministry said.
Moreover, according to the Ministry, two more ships of such type will be included to the navy arsenal of the Kazakhstan's Armed Forces in 2012 and 2013, and domestic survival training facility will be launched in 2016.
Missile ship 'Kazakhstan' and the training facility are being built by the Kazakh Ural Plant Zenith.
