The 8th edition of the IranPlast exhibition kicked off on Sunday at the Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds with participation of representatives from 20 countries in attendance.
Iranian Oil Minister Rostam Ghasemi and Deputy Oil Minister Abdulhossein Bayat attended the opening ceremony, the IRNA News Agency reported.
Over 400 domestic and 100 foreign companies take part in the exhibition.
China, Turkey, Taiwan, India, Germany, Austria, and Italy are among the participants.
The event will run for three days.
IranPlast is one of the largest and most important industrial exhibitions in Iran. The expo aims at displaying the latest achievements in different fields such as petrochemical products, materials, machineries and services.
