The Azerbaijani company ISMA Bikes will present models of bicycles at more affordable prices, Director General of the company Elchin Gahramanov told Trend Oct. 4.
He noted that bicycles are being sold at low prices in the Azerbaijani market, but they are of poor quality. Due to the price difference, it is difficult for ISMA Bikes to compete with others, so the company plans to start producing simpler bicycle models at an affordable price next year, he said.
At the same time, the demand for ISMA Bikes in the domestic market of Azerbaijan remains quite high, he added.
Speaking about plans to export Azerbaijani bicycles, Gahramanov noted that the work in this direction is underway and next year bicycles of ISMA Bikes will be supplied to neighboring countries. In particular, Arab countries show interest in the bicycles of ISMA Bikes, he said.
ISMA Bikes, which is a part of the Synergy Group of companies, is engaged in the production of mountain, city, road and other types of bicycles. Prices for the company’s products start from 100 manats for children’s bicycles and can reach 2,000 manats for road bicycles. The plant operates in Ismayilli district of Azerbaijan. The company started selling bicycles last summer.
