Archi Glass company, a resident of Azerbaijan's Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park, plans to produce 200,000-250,000 square meters of glass in 2019, the company's Director Murad Aslanov told Trend.
Aslanov noted that the company is currently working on several projects and, in particular, is negotiating on the project to install glass on administrative buildings of the ASAN Service.
"Every year we produce an average of 200,000 square meters of glass. Of course, production volumes vary depending on market demand, but we are trying to ensure that this indicator is always at a level not lower than 200,000 square meters. On the contrary, our goal is to increase production," Aslanov said.
The company also intends to expand the use of automated warehouse systems, as well as to establish the production of glass for construction equipment, the director noted.
He further added that the company is also considering to export its products. "Currently, the demand in the domestic market is very high, so we sell only in Azerbaijan, but in the future we plan to enter new markets," he said.
Archi Glass has been operating in Azerbaijan since October 2018. On an area of 4.4 hectares in Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park, the company produces various glass products using European, Chinese and Turkish technologies.
