Rattan, the Azerbaijani manufacturer of wicker country furniture, plans to increase production by 25-30 percent by the end of this year, a source in the company told Trend.
Big demand for the company’s products is observed in the consumer market, according to the source.
“From the beginning of this year, the company sold country furniture worth 100,000 manats, despite that it managed to ensure the same sales volumes throughout 2017. In 2018, this figure was already 150,000 manats.”
By the end of 2019, the company plans to sell products worth 200,000 manats, according to the source.
“Our furniture can compete in this market segment with any other manufacturer, primarily due to high quality,” the source added. “This is also reflected by the growth in the volume of export supplies to the Russian market. By the end of 2019, we plan to establish exports to neighboring Georgia, and we are negotiating in this direction.”
The company is the only enterprise in Azerbaijan that has assembled a professional team of modern furniture designers.
